Transportation

Dufresne Group has worked on numerous State and Federal funded transportation projects including sidewalk, streetscape, bridge, roadway, and municipal improvement projects. Services on these varied projects include planning and project definition, design development, construction phase management and construction observation. Throughout the projects we assist local officials with State and Federal funding, regulatory compliance and permitting.

Specific Federal funding requirements include the need to obtain Categorical Exclusion classification to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Right-of-Way plan development and Public participation requirements. The majority of the transportation projects are developed based on the VTrans Standard Specifications for Construction (VTSSC).
