For over two decades the City of Montpelier planned construction of a surface water treatment facility to produce potable drinking water from the Berlin Pond source. After numerous site relocations during preliminary design, the construction of a state of the art 4.0 million gallons per day water treatment facility was initiated in 1998.

DG provided construction consulting services during the 620 calendar day construction period, which concluded in June 2000. These services included:
