DERBY LINE SIDEWALK SCOPING STUDY
STP EH10(12)

Project Description:

The Village of Derby Line has identified the need for replacement of existing sidewalks along a portion of Main from the Irving Station to Caswell Avenue (approximately 360-feet), along Caswell Avenue to Maple Street (approximately 2,300-feet), and along Highland Avenue approximately 600 feet to the south. Village Trustees obtained funding through the Vermont Transportation Enhancement Program for the improvements. To meet funding requirements, a Scoping Study is required prior to design and construction of the project.

This initial phase of the project will review natural and cultural resources within the project area and identify limitations to be overcome. Throughout the project there will be several public informational meetings to gather input. Upon completion of this phase, the Village will be able to specifically identify improvements to be included and define a project budget and design and construction schedule.
