CLAREMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE

In 2004 the City of Claremont, NH initiated final design with Dufresne Group (DG) for the replacement of the existing Bible Hill water booster station. The existing pump station was housed in an antiquated brick and block shed without emergency power. The new pump station was located to assist the City with exchange of water from the City's Moody Hill storage tank as well as provide pump redundancy.

The new Bible Hill pump station includes the following characteristics:
  • Skid-mounted dual vertical centrifugal pumps and control.
  • 80 KW emergency power generator.
  • Radio telemetry connection to the water treatment facility for continuous system data collection.

Construction of the pump station began in May 2007 with substantial completion in November 2007.
